New Film Project: In Defense of the Rapture

As believers, we are called to uphold the truth of God’s Word and to proclaim it boldly in a world filled with uncertainty and competing voices. Today I am reaching out to share with you about a new film project that seeks to edify the Body of Christ and proclaim sound doctrine.

By God’s grace, I am thrilled to announce the upcoming production of a Docudrama titled In Defense of the Rapture, which I began filming the scholarly aspect in March 2025. This docudrama will feature some of today’s most respected scholars on eschatology and will address a critical need in the Church today: a return to sound biblical doctrines of the end times, which includes a Pretribulational Rapture.

Much of the modern Church has shifted away from a literal, grammatical, historical and contextual method of biblical interpretation, thus adopting a historists, idealists, Preterist or an Amillennialistic view of eschatology that denies the biblical teaching of Premillennialism. Other similar and erroneous views, like Replacement Theology, and including these mentioned, have not been deduced from Scripture, but due to the lack of it, and from individuals that do not hold to the literal, grammatical, historical and contextual method of biblical interpretation. Historically, the early Church held firmly to a literal Premillennial hope of Christ’s physical return (John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor. 15:50-58; 1 Thess. 1:9-10; 4:13-18; etc.), and His literal thousand-year reign (2 Tim. 2:11-12; Rev. 20:4-6), a belief widely embraced up until the middle of the second century. Unfortunately, many believers today lack this blessed hope due to a lack of sound biblical teaching.

The goal of In Defense of the Rapture, which will not be released until late 2026 to mid-2027 Lord willing, is not to entertain the church, or to merely present theological arguments, but to spiritually edify the body of Christ, ignite anticipation for the Lord’s return, and to bring honor and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. My previous film, Wolves Among Us, which is available below, exemplifies this commitment to creating content that equips and encourages the Church.

The production of a film is a highly costly endeavor; therefore, as I prepare for this journey, I invite you to consider joining me in this endeavor by supporting this film through prayer, by renting or purchasing one of my films through the secure links below, or by donating any amount towards the production of this film via the "donate" button provided at the top right of this site. Any purchase, rental or donations made through the secure links below (card, paypal, google pay) go directly to this new project. Your support—will directly contribute to advancing this vital message. While the world often emphasizes temporal returns, this project represents an eternal investment that will bear fruit in the lives of countless believers.

If God leads you to participate, your partnership will help bring this biblically accurate, historically accurate, and apologetical docudrama to fruition, ensuring that sound doctrine reaches hearts and minds across the globe. Together, we can remind the Church of our blessed hope and encourage the faithful to look forward to the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lastly, as a token of appreciation for your support of this new film project, all donors will be acknowledged in the final credits unless a written request for exclusion is provided.

If you would like more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email. May the Lord richly bless you as you and I await the Lord’s soon return.

Thank you,

Greg Rangel
